Implementation
We do! When you sign up for Homebase you’re not creating alone–we want to make sure you are successful. All universities have access to free- one-on-one sessions where we work with you to build and launch your course. You also gain access to monthly community conversations and resources within the Homebase platform.
Keep in mind that you do not need ANY technical expertise to succeed with Homebase. We KEEP IT SIMPLE.
You can launch within hours. You can customize to whatever extent you see as appropriate. Some universities complete their first modules within a few hours while others really go the distance to customize the platform to their needs. We recommend starting simple.

Yes. Well, as much as possible. After working with thousands of students, we have learned that they will engage far more effectively if it is required, or at least if they believe it is required. If your office is not able to require it, then we recommend that you indicate that it is required in the way you communicate with students and scholars. Example, “This required pre-arrival module must be completed by [date].”

The Homebase Marketplace is our attempt to solve many of the logistical challenges that international students face while reducing your workload. How many times have students asked you about finding housing, or which cell phone plan you recommend? The marketplace is also one way we are working to keep the cost of Homebase as low as possible to the university.
Access and Support
All support questions are responded to within one business day. One way we reduce your workload is by having students and scholars submit requests directly to Homebase support through the Homebase platform rather than sending yet another email to your office.
