The International Student Resource Center – Built for You

My name is Robin, and I’ve spent three decades (+) working in the field of international education, supporting international students and scholars. It’s been a hard slog at times – and the empathy immigration advisors feel for our students and scholars has likely never been higher. I’ve always felt that there was much more we could do for the people who work so hard to be here in the U.S., studying, researching and building their futures. About six months ago, I was presented with an opportunity to do just that – create and grow a philanthropically-funded support structure for international students and scholars in the U.S. to provide them with accurate, timely, and relevant information. Welcome to the International Student Resource Center.

This is not just about current student immigration status, benefit opportunities, and work permissions, but beyond that – post-graduation, work visas, U.S. permanent resident applications, and legal issues that go beyond what a sponsoring school or institution might be able to offer. In addition to comprehensive Guides and FAQs, we give free access to a Help Desk staff by immigration experts who can offer general guidance on a range of immigration topics.

Our Center is here for you, and is free. We are partnering with Homebase because we want to get this information out to more students, scholars and advisors.
